Upper Kenai River Half Day $150
The Upper Kenai River begins in Cooper Landing as it flows from Kenai Lake and winds its way approximately 12 miles to Jim's Landing. Our Upper Kenai River half day fishing trip begins at the Kenai Lake bridge at the mouth of Kenai Lake and covers approximately 7 miles of river ending at Sportsman's Lodge or the Kenai Russian River Ferry.
Upper Kenai River Full Day $200
Our Upper Kenai River full day fishing trip begins either at the Kenai Lake bridge at the mouth of Kenai Lake or at Sportsman's Lodge/Russian River Ferry and will covers between 5 to 12 miles of the Kenai River ending at Jim's Landing. This trip takes you through the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, an area known for its trophy sized Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden, and of course its abundance of Red and Silver Salmon. This trip will provide you with an opportunity to not only drift fish, but also to work the banks, gravel bars and islands throughout this stretch.
Upper Kenai Canyon Full Day $250
We additionally offer a full day Canyon trip on the Upper Kenai River as it continues through the Kenai River Canyon and flows into Skilak Lake. This trip takes anglers into some of the most wild and remote portions of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and anglers have the opportunity to catch some of the largest Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden on the Upper Kenai River. This trip is truly one of the highlights of any anglers Alaska fishing adventure and is highly recommended, especially in non-peak fishing periods as it provides anglers with the best opportunity to catch a true trophy Rainbow Trout. The trip is finished off by a relaxing 45 minute ride across Skilak Lake that allows you to reflect back on an amazing day of fishing while gazing at some of Alaska's most amazing scenery. This trip is weather dependant.
Middle River Full Day $250
The Middle River is the portion of the Kenai River from the mouth of Skilak Lake to Bing's Landing and is known to hold trophy size Rainbow Trout. This section of the Kenai River is not drift only, but fishing this area from a drift boat offers anglers the best opportunity to hook into a Rainbow Trout of a lifetime. Trophy fish of 30 inches or more are not uncommon in this area during the peak season. These explosive fish will amaze everyone with their ability to fly through the air. The Middle Kenai River also offers anglers the opportunity to fish for early second run Sockeye Salmon during the early part of July before they reach the Upper Kenai River. In addition to the amazing fishing opportunities, the Middle River offers anglers the opportunity to see Loons up close and some of the most spectacular views on the Kenai Peninsula.
Kasilof River Full Day $200
Kenai River Fly Fishing also offers early season drift fishing trips on the Kasilof River for King Salmon. This unique fishery offers anglers the opportunity to experience King Salmon fishing in a relaxed non-motorized environment. Anglers may try their hand at fly fishing for these sizeable fish (in the 30 pound plus range) or just sit back and relax while back trolling out of a relaxing drift boat.
Guided Wade-Fishing $150
Kenai River Fly Fishing also offers customers the opportunity to diversify a multi-day trip and to experience some different water by taking a guided wade-fishing trip on either the Russian River or Quartz Creek. Departure times vary depending upon the time of year and customer preference. Contact a Kenai River Fly Fishing representative to book your guided wade fishing trip or to enquire about adding this option onto an already existing trip.
Russian River - The Russian River provides anglers with amazing wade fishing opportunities from dry fly fishing for Rainbow Trout with light tackle to fishing for explosive Sockeye Salmon in small stream like environment. The Russian River is a crystal clear snow-fed stream that offers anglers a rare opportunity to catch Rainbow Trout on a dry fly in riffles below pools of Sockeye Salmon. This fishing trip is an excellent choice for Sunday's in July as the lower section of the Upper Kenai River is closed to guided fishing.
Quartz Creek - Kenai River Fly Fishing also offers guided wade fishing trips on Quartz Creek for Dolly Varden. In August, this section of water can produce more fish per mile than any stream on the Kenai Peninsula. This section of water is easy to access and perfect for the angler seeking a half day fishing trip or an evening adventure.
What We Provide***: All terminial tackle is provided, which includes:
20' Willie drift boats - up to 4 anglers per boat
Flies, leaders, weights and necessary terminal tackle
Loomis fly rods and Ross reels for Rainbow Trout fishing
St. Croix fly rods and STH reels for Salmon fishing
Hip waders, rain gear and life vests.
Clients are encouraged to bring their own fishing gear, rain gear, and/or chest waders if they would like.
What You Need to Bring:
Warm Clothes - We recommend that you dress in layers. Try to bring wool or polar fleece as cotton holds in water and becomes uncomfortable when wet. A hat, gloves and non-cotton socks are also reccomended.
Rain Gear - Rain gear can be provided, but your own may be more comfortable.
Polarized Sunglasses - We recommend bringing polarized sunglasses, if you have them.
Fishing License - An Alaska fishing license valid for the day of the charter is required. Please purchase your fishing license in advance of your scheduled trip.
Food & Drink - Please bring any food, snacks or non-alcoholic drink that you may want during your trip.
Camera - Camera gear is encouraged and there is ample dry storage on the boat. You are responsible for your own gear and we recommend that you keep it in a dry storage bag.

Our cancellation policy is listed below.
Cancellation Policy: Reservations require at least a 50% deposit with the balance being paid upon arrival. A 100% refund less any transaction fees will be given for cancellations made more than 30 days in advance. A 50% refund will be given for cancellations made between 30 and 15 days in advance. Deposits are non-refundable for reservations cancelled less than 14 days in advance. Requests for changes and/or modifications to departure dates and or trip locations will be accommodated based on availability, but can not be guaranteed. Deposits can be secured by MC/Visa or paypal.
***Equipment that is lost or broken due to negligent misuse by the client will be charged to the client.
